About Kaye
Kaye Gorospe Gordo is a San Jose, California-based set and production designer, visual and scenic artist. Originally from the Philippines, she brings a rich, multicultural perspective to her craft. Through her work, she enjoys turning creative concepts into visual realities for audiences. Her experience includes contributing to stage productions of Aladdin, The Addams Family, The Glass Menagerie, Newsies Anastasia, where her set design and scenic art played a key role in the overall storytelling. She does commissioned artworks, exhibits, murals and anything that paints the design through her eyes and brush strokes.

Kayecanvas was meant to be ” Kaye’s canvas ” but it might as well be Kaye as the canvas – of imagination and creativity – that sort of thing. With Kayecanvas, anything and everything is my canvas. A free space. A blank wall. An empty stage. What can we do with it? I want the art – the design – to be a tangible imagination. Can we do that? Well, when do we start?
